DC Reasi presides over Public Outreach camp at Panthal

Assures quality redressal of public grievances

REASI : The Block Divas meeting was held today at Panchayat Panthal under the Chairpersonship of District Development Commissioner, Babila Rakwal.

At the outset, District Development Council, Panthal, Rajinder Mengi; Chairperson Block Development Council, Chander Mohan Singh   and local Sarpanch, Suresh Kumar Mengi discussed and projected a range of issues of the area.

The District Development Commissioner and other government functionaries listened to the people’s issues projected by the public deputations and PRIs of local and adjoining Panchayats.

They apprised the District Commissioner about a range of issues pertaining to their areas and sought her intervention for timely redressal of the grievances.

The locals & PRI members demanded up-gradation of water & Power infrastructure, Road construction, Black topping of some Roads & raised other issues of public importance.

Interacting with the people, the District Development Commissioner said the District Administration is ensuring timely and quality redress of the genuine public demands through a vibrant mechanism.

At the end, the DDC passed instructions to   the representative of line Departments to take appropriate action to address the raised issues and the same would be reviewed in next Block Diwas.

The camp ended with the vote of thanks by Block Development Officer, Panthal.

Anirudh Rai, Assistant Commissioner Development; Deepak Dubey, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Katra;  Mehak Chowdhary,  Block Development Officer along with staff and Officers/officials of line Departments were also present in the Block Divas.
