J&K Police arrest West Bengal resident with stolen pistol in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested a West Bengal resident with a stolen pistol in Srinagar, officials said.

Srinagar Police said that one person namely Lokesh Kumar of Alipurdauar West Bengal at present Elahibagh, Soura was caught with a pistol near a joint checkpoint at Regal Chowk in wee hours.

“He had stolen the pistol on the same night from the house of a registered license holder.

FIR 31/2023 registered at Police Station Kothibagh,” the police said in a tweet.(AGENCIES)
