ADC listens to people's grievances, assures redressal

SHOPIAN : In order to assess the local issues and listen to the grievances of the people for their speedy disposal, Block Diwas was today conducted at Keller tehsil of Shopian.

The outreach programme was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz.

Various public issues raised by BDC Chairman, Keller, Mohammad Yousuf, PRIs and locals include establishment of Marriage Hall in Keller, better medical facilities in Sub District Hospital Keller, widening of Hospital road, playground, construction of roads, shifting of damaged PHE pipes, washroom at Bus Adda Keller, providing of portable drinking water facility, etc.

The ADC gave patient hearing to the grievances raised and assured quality disposal of genuine issues in a time-bound manner while directing the concerned officers to resolve the same expeditiously to facilitate the demands of the people.

He directed concerned officers to take works demanded by the people which are feasible and of routine nature. Other issues of public importance were noted for further follow up with authorities.

On the occasion, officers and officials of line departments responded to the queries and grievances of the people.

ACP, Manzoor Ahmad; CEO, Tehsildar, BDO Keller, officers and officials of revenue and other departments were present on the occasion.
