DC tours various areas of Kulgam, listens issues of people at Devsar

Takes stock of pace & progress on Transit Accommodations for KP employees at Chowgam

KULGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today toured various areas of Kulgam and listened to issues of people at Devsar for early redressal.

People of Devsar and adjacent areas apprised the DC about various issues and developmental requirements of their areas.

All the issues and demands of people were listened by the DC and some of the issues were redressed on spot.

Earlier, the DC visited Chowgam to take stock of pace and progress on construction of transit accommodations for KP employees.

At Chowgam it was informed by the concerned officers from the executing agency  that a total of 12 blocks comprising 192 flats will be constructed with a project cost of 22.89 crore and out of these 12 blocks, 08 blocks are under construction at different stages.

The DC instructed the executing agency to scale up the pace of work and  mobilize more men and machinery to complete work project well in time.

During the visit, the DC also inspected NT-PHC  at Chowgam and PHC Devsar and took stock of the overall functioning of these health institution.

Dr Bilal enquired about the availability of medicines and other facilities besides services being provided to the patients there.

The DC directed the hospital administration to maintain complete hygiene in and around the hospital and provide better medical care facilities to the patients.

The DC was accompanied by ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz,Tehsildar, CMO, AEE R&B and other officers.
