Action plan for smooth conduct of ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ reviewed at Kupwara

KUPWARA: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Altaf Ahmed Khan today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review action plan and preparations for smooth and successful conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district.

The ADDC directed the officers to ensure maximum public participation in the Yatra which is aimed to raise awareness about the Government’s schemes and achievements.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be a massive IEC campaign in the country to make people aware about various Govt Schemes.

It was informed in the meeting that Digital Vans will traverse all Panchayats delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting promotional events.

It was also informed that the district administration has prepared a comprehensive schedule to cover 385 panchayats and all wards of three MCs.

The route plan and appointment of Nodal Officers with assignment of specific duties is already in place for a smooth Yatra.

During the meeting, the ADDC stressed on the importance of flagship schemes and underlined the need for effective projection of these schemes to maximize their impact. He further impressed upon all the officers that nominations for success stories to be captured, be submitted by tomorrow evening.

The ADDC also reviewed arrangements for cultural events, health camps and other activities to be organised during the yatra.

ACD Kupwara, CMO kupwara, DIO Kupwara and other district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
