Kupwara : In a continued commitment to community well-being, the J&K Youth Welfare Forum, Ray of Hope, collaborated with Mal Ded Maternity Clinic and the District Social Welfare Office (DSWO) Kupwara to organize another impactful Free Medical Camp. The event, held at Sarkooli, Kalaroose Lolab witnessed an overwhelming response with hundreds of patients benefiting from a range of medical services, including free consultations and the distribution of essential medicines.
This collaborative initiative reflects the Forum’s dedication to addressing the healthcare needs of the local population. The strategic partnership with Mal Ded Maternity Clinic and DSWO Kupwara exemplifies the power of community engagement and joint efforts towards a healthier society.

One of the distinctive features of the camp was the distribution of free medicines to patients. This not only ensured immediate relief but also underscored the Forum’s commitment to removing barriers to healthcare access, particularly for those facing economic challenges.
Dr. Dr Javid Ahmad, a prominent healthcare professional participating in the camp, emphasized the significance of such initiatives. “These Free Medical Camps are vital for reaching out to communities that may have limited access to healthcare facilities. They play a crucial role in preventive healthcare and early detection of illnesses,” remarked Doctors.
The collaboration with Mal Ded Maternity Clinic brought a specialized focus on maternal and child health. Services provided included antenatal check-ups, postnatal care, and consultations on maternal nutrition. This comprehensive approach aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to healthcare and well-being.
Chairman JKYWF Aijaz Ah Bhat and the coordinator of the event from DSWO Kupwara, expressed his appreciation for the Forum’s efforts. “Partnering with organizations like J&K Youth Welfare Forum, Ray of Hope, is instrumental in extending our outreach. Beyond immediate healthcare services, the event served as an educational platform, with experts providing insights into preventive healthcare practices, hygiene, and disease management.
The J&K Youth Welfare Forum acknowledges the invaluable support from volunteers, healthcare professionals, and local authorities in making this event possible. The Forum remains steadfast in its commitment to facilitating accessible and quality healthcare for all, guided by the belief that a healthy community is the cornerstone of sustainable development.
