Special Summary Revision meeting held at Handwara

KUPWARA : Following the directions of District Election Officer Kupwara, a review meeting of all Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Supervisors and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROS) of assembly Constituency -5 Handwara regarding Special Summary Revision (SSR) was held at Environment Hall Handwara.

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmed Mir who is also Electoral Registration Officer of AC-5 Handwara.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC directed all the Tehsildars to organize workshops cum awareness camps at prominent places like Higher Secondary Schools and Darul-Ulooms. He asked them to involve Traders Federation members, PRIs and other role models from PWD community for greater participation and registration of maximum number of voters.

The ADC emphasized upon all the BLOs to gear up and achieve the desired targets timely.

Tehsildar Handwara, District Election Trainer, Naib Tehsildars of Taratpora and Vilgam, besides, BLOs were present in the meeting.
