Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches 10 Panchayats of block Frisal, Qaimoo of Kulgam

KULGAM : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign today reached 10 more Panchayats of Frisal and Qaimoo blocks gaining further momentum in Kulgam district by covering 99 Panchayats of the district from the date of its launch in the district.

Amid active participation of all stakeholders, the campaign is spreading awareness about government schemes among the public.

During the day, Health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities were organized in these Panchayats, besides services were made available on-the-spot to the common masses.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) today reached Panchayat Badroo, Barzloo Jageer, Ashmuji A Ashmuji B, Bhan, Khrewan Chadder, Matalhama, Bolsoo, Bachroo and Tarigam where people enthusiastically welcomed VBSY at each respective location.

The primary objective of this outreach and information dissemination campaign is to empower citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development.

Success stories of empowerment and collective engagement activities towards a shared vision of national development were held in these panchayats.

Awareness lectures on various government welfare schemes by resource persons, free medical camps, cultural and sports events were also organized on the occasion.

Pertinently, the Yatra aims to reach out to the unreached population, making them aware of various government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Saman Yojana, Jeevan Joti Bima Yojana, along with the process to avail benefits.
