VC DDC Kupwara reviews status of essential services in territorial Constituency Wavoora

KUPWARA : Vice-Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of concerned officers, at Dak Banglow here to review the status of various essential services in DDC territorial constituency of Wavoora (Lolab).

On the occasion, the VC DDC impressed upon all the officers to work with added dedication and zeal and ensure completion of all the ongoing works so that people at large could get benefitted.

Regarding power supply, the VC asked the concerned officers to make all possible efforts to ensure power supply as per the curtailment schedule so that people of the far flung area of Lolab valley do not suffer in this bone chilling winter season.

Reviewing the scenario of Jal Jeevan Mission, Haji Farooq asked the AEE PHE Lolab to speed up the pace of work on all JJM schemes belonging to Panchayat Tangcheck, Potushai and different other areas as the people of these areas face hardships due to scarcity of potable drinking water supply.

VC also reviewed various issues pertaining to R&B and I&FC and asked the concerned officers to expedite the works so that people are facilitated.

Executive Engineer R&B Division Lolab, officers from Jal Shakti, STD Sopore, PDD, Project Wing Baramulla and concerned officials were present in the meeting.
