National Girl Child Day celebrated by DHEW Kupwara.

KUPWARA : In a spirited effort towards empowering women and promoting the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative, the District Hub for Empowerment of women , DHEW Kupwara organized a momentous program at Pareesha Pulwari Gulgam. The event brought together the community, educators, and locals in a collective commitment to advancing the cause of gender equality and education for the girl child.

The District Hub took the opportunity to present the diligent students with moments as a token of acknowledgment and encouragement for their dedication to education.

In a unique and environmentally conscious addition to the event, a plantation drive was conducted, aligning with the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative. The act of planting trees represented a collective pledge to nurture and protect the environment for the generations to come.
