BANDIPORA : The Bandipora Youth Federation and Ali’s Sports Academy Saturday donated a vital piece of medical equipment to the District Hospital Bandipora.

The handing over ceremony was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman Rather.

The DC in presence of Padma Shree Faisal Ali Dar, ADC Umar Shafi, MS Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad and other health officials and prominent citizens/youth dedicated the 5 part Hematology Analyser, valued at rupees 6 lakh approximately, to District Hospital Bandipora.

Speaking at the ceremony, the DC lauded the efforts of the Bandipora Youth Federation and Ali’s Sports Academy, highlighting their dedication to improving the lives of their community members and emphasized that such youth led community efforts shall be inspiring each one of us to do our bit for the betterment of society.

Medical Superintendent, while thanking the federation, stated that the vital equipment will significantly enhance the diagnostic capabilities of the District Hospital Bandipora, enabling faster and more accurate analysis of blood samples.

He further said that this will lead to quicker diagnosis and more effective treatment plans for patients suffering from a range of blood-related disorders, including anemia, leukemia, and infections.

Representatives from the Bandipora Youth Federation and Ali’s Sports Academy expressed their pride in being able to contribute to the well-being of Bandiporians. They emphasized the importance of youth engagement in social causes and their commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives in the region.
