DC inspects snow clearance efforts in various parts of Budgam

Visits District Hospital Budgam, Inspects healthcare facilities & supply of essential services

BUDGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today toured various parts of Budgam and assessed snow clearance operations and supply of essential services across the District.

The DC also visited the District Hospital Budgam, where he took detailed inspection of availability of medicine and patient care.

During inspection at the hospital, the DC took assessment of healthcare facilities and ambulance services for seamless patient care.

He instructed all doctors and paramedics staff to adhere to duty roster in and ensure hassle-free services to patients across all healthcare facilities in the district.

Meanwhile, the DC visited various Budgam Town areas and took on spot assessment of snow clearance work and assessed the supply of essential services to the general public.

The DC also visited market areas to check availability of essential commodities in the market.

He emphasised on carrying out seamless snow clearance work for prompt connectivity restoration across the district.

Direction for manual snow clearance, repeated clearance and salt sprinkling on required roads was also given to the concerned.

The DC said that soon after snowfall started today, prompt snow clearance work was started in all areas for smooth traffic movement across all routes.

He appealed to the general public to contact District Control Room 01951-255291, for any assistance.

He was accompanied by ADC Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, Executive Engineers from different engineering wings, Tehsildar, MS DH Budgam and other concerned.
