PWWA chairperson Inaugurates smart classes facilities at Police Public School Bemina

Srinagar : Professor Rasmita Das Swain, Chairperson of the Management Committee of the J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and J&K Police Public Schools, unveiled a new era of education at the Police Public School Bemina.

The inauguration, graced by the esteemed presence of Administrative Officer Sujit Kumar Singh DIG CID Kashmir and Principal PPS SSnigdha Singh, marked a significant stride towards advancing educational infrastructure in the region.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of notable PWWA members including Eva Rayees, Pragati Pandey, Mehak Chakravarty, Sahar Zamil, along with Imtiyaz Ahmad SP (West), Shabeera Shabnum (Headmistress), and the entire staff of PPS Bemina, Srinagar.

Amidst the joyous occasion, Prof. Swain dedicated three new school buses to enhance transportation facilities and distributed 40 school kits to the wards of fallen heroes of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming the commitment to support families who have sacrificed for the nation. The event also doubled as a heartwarming graduation ceremony for the kindergarten wing.

In her address, Prof. Swain paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of the fallen heroes of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and pledged unwavering support to their children’s education. She conducted a comprehensive review of the school’s functioning and infrastructure, stressing the importance of recruiting quality educators and fostering advanced learning environments to deliver excellence in education.

Highlighting the future trajectory, Prof. Swain assured to address the pressing demands for new projects, including a girls’ hostel, state-of-the-art sports facilities, and advanced laboratories, to elevate the educational experience at PPS Bemina. She extended heartfelt congratulations to the parents of the graduating children and commended the dedication of the teaching and non-teaching staff for their outstanding performance.

In her closing remarks, Prof. Swain affirmed the commitment to organizing similar events in the future, ensuring a continuous flow of enriching experiences for the school community.
