Hands-on EVM/ VVPAT Training imparted to Election staff at Handwara

KUPWARA : In order to ensure smooth polling, EVM/VVPAT training programmes were organized by the Election Office Kupwara at Environment Hall Handwara and Govt Degree College Handwara.
The training was imparted in two sessions. In its first session, the employees were given a brief description of EVM, VVPAT & documentation.
In the second session, hands-on training regarding the EVM was given to the randomised poll staff, who themselves operated it and got the desired results. Various errors deliberately occurred and their remedial mechanism was taught to the participants.
