Srinagar : The recent terror attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir has sparked strong reactions from various quarters of the Kashmir Valley.

Residents, students, and activists have come forward to condemn the act, expressing their grief and anger over the loss of innocent lives and the continuing threat of terrorism in the UT.

Javid Firdous, resident of Anantnag said that as a student from Anantnag, he strongly condemned the attack, calling it a cowardly act that disrupts peace and stability. “As a responsible citizen of India, I strongly condemn the terror attack on pilgrims in Reasi. Such acts of violence have no place in our society,” Javid asserted.

Israar Shahid, student activist from Handwara denounced the attack as a heinous act of Pakistan-backed terrorism. “The recent terror attack on pilgrims in Reasi is unequivocally condemnable. We have always vilified Pakistan-backed terrorism and will continue to do so. My heart goes out to the victims and their families,” he stated, emphasizing the need for unity against such threats.

Expressing her sorrow, Rehana Zehra from Budgam described the attack as deeply painful and unacceptable. She called for strong condemnation of the violence and urged for peace and stability in the region. “The continued support for terrorism by Pakistan is a threat to our peace. My heart goes out to the victims and their families,” Rehana added.

Similarly a student from Srinagar, Muskaan Jameel, voiced her strong disapproval of the attack, underscoring the persistent threat posed by Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. “The terror attack on innocent pilgrims is a brutal reminder of the dangers we face. We must unite against such violence and work towards a peaceful Kashmir,” Muskaan said, mourning the loss of lives and the suffering of the injured.

Faisal Farooq, a citizen from Srinagar, expressed his deep sorrow and outrage over the incident. “The recent happenings in Reasi are completely unacceptable. The survivors’ accounts are heart-wrenching, and those responsible must face deserved punishment,” he demanded.

Lateef Ahmad from Kupwara called for justice beyond the boundaries of religion, caste, or nationality. He expressed condolences to the affected families and hoped for a peaceful future for Kashmir. “We hope that no such incident takes place in the future. A peaceful Kashmir is all that we wish for,” he added.

Condemning the attack, Aafiya Bhat from Sopore stressed the importance of unity and brotherhood in Kashmir. “These terrorists are the real enemies of our unity. We have faced many challenges and will continue to stand against such acts. Our brotherhood cannot be demolished. We will defeat these ill designs,” she added.(KNS)
