DE&CC Kupwara organises one-day Job Fair for unemployed youth

KUPWARA : The District Employment & Counseling Centre (DE&CC) Kupwara organized a one-day Job Fair at its office premises for the unemployed youth of the district.
The event saw participation from several prominent organizations, including Wyath Service Pvt. Ltd., Mir Job Placement Organisation, Haddaf Education Pvt. Ltd., Recforge International Pvt. Ltd., and Spiceat, offering over 160 vacancies across various sectors.
The job fair witnessed a large turnout of educated unemployed youth. Employment Officer, DE&CC Kupwara, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, CEOs/MDs of the private sector companies, and the participating youth.
A Young Professional from DE&CC Kupwara provided an overview of the available vacancies and the registration process on jakemp.nic.in and the NCS portal. Resource persons from JKEDI Kupwara discussed the current job market and emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship development skills among the educated unemployed youth.
Career Counseling Officer, DE&CC Kupwara informed the participants about various livelihood generation schemes under Mission Youth J&K, including Mumkin, Tejaswini, and SEI.
During the event, M/S Recforge International Pvt. Ltd. provided on-the-spot offer letters to 06 unemployed youth, M/S Mir Job Placement Pvt. Ltd provided on-the-spot offer letters to 02 unemployed youth. Additionally, 119 fresh registrations were made, and 56 candidates were shortlisted for further rounds.
