Srinagar : Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum Chairman Mohammad Amin Khan Wednesday hailed the move by School Education Department, under chairmanship of Alok Kumar, effecting promotion of 112 senior lecturers as Principals and four Chief Education Officers as Joint Directors.
Khan said that our 110 headless higher secondaries will now get the principals and this process will certainly bring a positive change in teaching learning process of these schools.
“The entire leadership of Teachers Forum is highly thankful to all the officers of Education department especially of Principal Secretary SED Alok Kumar, Additional Secretary SED Ghulam Nabi Bhat for their commendable efforts,” Khan said, adding, “We wish that the rest of the issues which were put before the chair will be given due consideration in a time bound manner, which include the confirmation of lecturers, headmasters, principals and ZEOs, promotion of Teacher to Master, and Master to headmaster, transfer policy of G2& G3 teachers, especially the judicious distribution of Teaching staff,” Khan said.
“We are highly thankful to the worthy principal Secretary SED that for the upliftment of education standards in government schools and improvement of quality education he always takes the time bound initiatives, and focuses on accountability,” the JKTF Chairman added.
