SVEEP: Bandipora Admin organises Cycle Rally to enhance Voter Awareness Youth are ambassadors of Electoral Awareness: DEO

BANDIPORA : In an effort to boost voter awareness and increase electoral participation, the District Election Office Bandipora on Monday organized a cycle rally under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.

This initiative is part of a broader campaign to engage the community, particularly the youth in the electoral process.
The rally was flagged-off by the Deputy Commissioner / District Election Officer (DEO), Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri and witnessed participation of a large number of enthusiastic students from various schools of the district.
The cycle rally commenced from the Mini Secretariat Bandipora, with participants cycling through significant localities including Nowpora Chowk, Kaloosa, Watapora and concluded at High School Qazipora.
Addressing the gathering, DEO emphasized the crucial role of youth in driving electoral awareness.
He said, youth are the ambassadors of electoral awareness and it is essential to engage them actively in the electoral process to enhance voter turnout, ensure a more informed electorate and encourage more citizens to exercise their democratic right.
ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt, ACR Shabir Ahmad Wani, DyDEO Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, along with other district officers were present on the occasion.
