It is an appreciable and forward-looking move by the Election Commission of India (ECI), to launch Home Voting Initiative for upcoming assembly elections in Jammu &Kashmir. This drive aims to leave no stone unturned and take every eligible citizen, even handicapped or otherwise physically challenged ones who will not by the very nature of their creation be able to walk down from plane through all middlemen accountable in the electoral process.
