Assembly Elections-2024 DEO Bandipora presides over training program for Home voting poll staff

BANDIPORA : The District Administration Bandipora on Thursday successfully conducted a comprehensive training programme for poll staff designated for home voting and PVC for the assembly elections 2024.
The training session was presided over by District Election Officer (DEO), Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, and was attended by RO 15-Bandipora AC, Shabir Ahmad Wani, Nodal Officer for Postal Ballot/Home Voting, Mehraj Wani, DIO Bandipora Adil Manzoor Wani, ARO Owais Ahmad Malik, Home voting and PVC poll staff and other concerned officials.
Addressing the participants, DEO, M.A. Qadri emphasised the essential role of the poll staff in facilitating a smooth electoral process.
He urged all staff to adopt a proactive and unbiased approach, ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote and participate in the democratic process.
DEO reiterated that the integrity of the electoral process relies on the dedication and professionalism of the poll staff and stressed the importance of transparency and accountability, encouraging staff to maintain high ethical standards throughout the voting process.
Nodal Officer Postal Ballot/Home Voting Mehraj Wani provided detailed training to participants regarding home voting procedures, necessary documentation, PVC and best practices for a seamless voting experience.
DIO, Aadil Manzoor Wani also addressed the participants, outlining the protocols and guidelines set by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to promote fair and accessible electoral processes for all voters.
