Lolab Admin Sogam Conducts Anti-encroachment Drive in Lolab Sogam

(Kupwara) : Tehsil administration Sogam on Thursday conducted an anti-encroachment drive at Lassipora area in Sogam.

The drive was led by Tehsildar Sogam Saqib Murtaza, saw participation of Naib Tehsildar Sogam, SHO Sogam, Patwaris, Lumberdar and Chowkidars of the area.

The visiting team freed a high-valued patch of encroached upon land after demolishing an illegally built structure at a site in Lassipora.

The Tehsildar Sogam Saqib Murtaza on the occasion advised the people to remove the encroachments, if any, on the state land on their own, contrary to which strict action will be taken.

Meanwhile, the local people of the area have applauded the authorities for removal of illegal possession on land by some influential people and also appealed for further action against all those having encroached upon the state land.
