One Day CBP under Mission Yuva held for officers of line departments at Kulgam

KULGAM : The District Employment and Counseling Centre Kulgam today organized a one day Capacity Building Program (CBP) under the ambitious Project YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) for officers of line departments.

The program was presided by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan.
Bashir Ah. Wani, ADDC; ACD, AD Employment and others officers from line departments besides officers/ officials of DE&CC Kulgam attended the programme.
Addressing the occasion, the DC stressed the line departments to have baseline survey about potential entrepreneurs and disseminate knowledge about different schemes to the unemployed youth from which they can get benefit, and get regular feedback from beneficiaries post disbursement.
The line departments were stressed to prepare Entrepreneurs who can benefited from agri-allied sectors.
Dr. Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, DOC, ICSSR New Delhi participated in the inaugural sessions followed DPR session by Nodal Officer JKEDI Kulgam.
Final session was conducted by Zonal Head JK Bank Anantnag in which credit linkage system was explained to implementing officers scheme.
The YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship and accelerate employment, skill development opportunities, incubation centres across Jammu and Kashmir by empowering youth, women and vulnerable groups.
