Police Band Show Conducted at Main Market Sogam in Honour of Police Commemoration Day 2024 and Police Flag Day

Kupwara: As part of the observance of Police Commemoration Day 2024 and Police Flag Day, District Police Kupwara today organized a Band Show at Main Market Sogam. The event was a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, reflecting the police’s enduring commitment to honour their memory and service.

The District Police Band performed a variety of tunes, including patriotic songs and vibrant local folk songs, which resonated with the large crowd of locals who gathered to witness the event. The band also marched through the marketplace, creating a lively and respectful atmosphere as they played their tribute.
The Band Show was conducted in the presence of Raies Ahmad-JKPS, DySP PC Lolab, and Insp Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO P/S Sogam, along with other officials of Police Station Sogam,who ensured the event was a meaningful and well-organized tribute to the martyrs.
