DLSA Kulgam organizes Awareness programme on ‘Rights of Third Gender persons’

KULGAM : In compliance with the plan of action as formulated by JKLSA, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam today organized an awareness programme on the ‘Rights of Third Gender persons’ at ADR Centre Kulgam.
The event was organized under the chairpersonship of Chairman DLSA Kulgam, Aijaz Ahmad Khan and under the guidance of Secretary DLSA, Muzamil Wani.
The resource persons for the programme Basit Farooq (Asst. LADC) and M Iqbal Bhat (Panel Lawyer) spoke among other things about the rights of third Gender persons and provided toll free contact number of National portal for transgender persons and NALSA Helpline number.
The programme was attended by LADC’s, Panel Lawyers, PLVs and staff of DLSA.
