DTO Bandipora conducts Accounts Reconciliation Training for Contesting Candidates of GELA-2024

BANDIPORA : The District Treasury Officer (DTO) Bandipora, Sheikh Aabid along with the Assistant Expenditure Observers conducted an Accounts Reconciliation Training session on Saturday for all candidates who contested in the recently held General Elections to the Legislative Assembly (GELA) 2024 in the district.
The session was held in accordance with Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines on election expenditure monitoring, aimed at imparting essential knowledge to candidates regarding the reconciliation of their election accounts.
During the session, candidates were instructed to submit their Election Expenditure Registers, completed in all respects, by or before the 30th day following the declaration of results.
The training session was attended by candidates/ their authorized representatives, who were asked to submit their Election Expenditure Registers complete in all respects including signed Election Expenditure Registers, along with supporting vouchers, bank statements, affidavits, and other necessary documents, as mandated by the ECI guidelines on election expenditure monitoring.
