ADG PIB Srinagar presides over virtual review meeting
Srinagar, Jan 17: A review meeting of the working of social media units of Press Information Bureau (PIB) Srinagar and Chandigarh was held today under the chairmanship of Additional Director General (Region) Chandigarh, Sh Rajender Chaudhry. Sh Chauhdry recently joined as ADG (R) Chandigarh and also holds the additional charge of PIB Srinagar.
The review meeting which was held through virtual mode was attended by the different stakeholders from Press Information Bureau and Regional Outreach Bureau of the Northern Region.
Addressing the participants, Sh. Chaudhry stressed upon the importance of social media in the present times. He instructed all concerned to make maximum use of the medium to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information regarding various government schemes so that stakeholders can get maximum benefit from them.
A pledge on cleanliness was also jointly undertaken by the participants during the meeting.
