After days of rain, weatherman has forecast “hot and humid” weather in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday “Mainly dry is expected today.
A brief spell of Rain/Thunderstorm may occur towards late afternoon/evening but chances are less,” a meteorological department official said, adding, “Today will be a hot & humid day.’
He said farmers can spray orchards while schools can plan picnics or any outdoor activities this week.
The minimum temperatures settled below normal for the season across the J&K barring Katra, the MeT official said.
Srinagar, he said, recorded a low of 17.5°C against 17.0°C on the previous night.(RK)
