Assembly Elections-2024 Interactive session under SVEEP initiative held at Panchayat-B Onagam Bandipora

BANDIPORA : In an effort to boost voter turnout in the upcoming assembly elections, District Election Authority Bandipora today organised an interactive session under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative at Panchayat-B Onagam here.
The session brought together Booth Level Awareness Groups (BAGS), Aanganwari workers, AASHA workers, and other concerned.
The interactive session was attended by Nodal Officer Man Power and trainings Dr. G.M. Pujoo; SVEEP Nodal officer for Bandipora AC, Ab Rashid Lone; Member Secretary BAGS, Javaid Jawad, and SVEEP coordinator Arsullah Habib.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. G.M. Pujoo emphasized the importance of informed voting and responsible citizenship, urging participants to actively engage in the electoral process while SVEEP Nodal Officer, Ab Rashid Lone highlighted the significance of voter education and awareness in ensuring a robust democracy.
Member Secretary BAGS, in his address stressed on the role of BAGS in promoting electoral literacy and encouraging voter participation.
Furthermore SVEEP Coordinator encouraged the audience to spread awareness about the importance of voting, especially among young and first-time voters.
