Awareness on Women Empowerment, BBBP & NMBA held at GHSS Khansahib Budgam

BUDGAM : Under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) a committed department of Social Welfare office Budgam today organised a day long awareness program at GHSS Khanshahib.

The programme was organised to aware students regarding the significant government initiatives viz. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) etc.

Recognizing the importance of these initiatives in promoting gender equality and combating substance abuse, DHEW raised awareness, driving action, and ensuring the success of these programs.

DHEW team also informed that these initiatives hold immense potential to bring about positive social change and transform lives.

Speakers also highlighted the initiatives of the government that are creating an environment where women can make choices and have control over their lives, access to opportunities, and the ability to influence and contribute to society about positive change and address the existing gender disparities and discrimination.
