Authorities on Monday evening said that the mobile internet services will be restored in Kashmir districts shortly. However, they said that the services would continue to remain suspended in Srinagar and Budgam districts.
A top police officer told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that the mobile internet service will be restored at around 7:pm in all the districts except Central Kashmir’s Srinagar and Budgam.
Authorities will take review about the restoration of mobile internet services in Srinagar and Budgam districts tomorrow, he said.
The services were snapped on the evening of September 1, when Syed Ali Shah Geelani died at the age of 92. (KDC)
