Budgam Police arrests a person and seized 03 tractors for illegal excavation & transportation of minerals

Police Station Beerwah received an information about excavation of soil/blouders from Nallah Sukhnag at Ohnagam, Police party of Police Station Beerwah raided the specific location and sezied 03 tractors and arrested one person. The arrested person has been identified as:-

Safeer Ahmad Teli son of Mohammad Sabir Teli resident of ohnagam

Case FIR number 148/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Beerwah and investigation taken up. The Hunt is on to arrest the other two absconding accused persons who managed to escape from the spot.

Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
