Budgam Police seized 03 Tippers, 01 JCB Machine and arrested 04 persons for illegal excavation and transportation of minerals

During over night patrolling, police parties of Police Station Chadoora seized 03 tippers and 01 JCB Machine and arrested 04 persons at two separate locations who were found excavating soil illegally from government land at Nowpora Chadoora and Magraypora Chadoora.The arrested persons have been identified as:-

01.Javaid Ahmed Sheikh S/o Ab Rasheed Sheikh
2.Bilal Ahmad Sheikh S/o Gh Rasool Sheikh Both residents of Nowpora Chadoora
3.Umeed Ahmed Wani S/O Mohd Ibrahim Wani R/o Pahroo Chadoora
4. Ajaz Ahmed Bhat S/O Bashir Ahmed Bhat R/O Wanpora Chadoora

Case FIR Numbers 190/2022 & 191/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered against accused persons at Police Station Chadoora and investigation taken up.

Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
