Bulletin on Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19)

JK reports 18 fresh positive cases, 474172 recovered

The Government today informed that 18 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 07 from Jammu division and 11 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 479102.

Active Covid cases in India cross 6,000-mark, Kerala top list of active cases

Moreover, 17 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 08 from Jammu division and 09 from Kashmir division.

Also, 4,370 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,70,291.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 479102 positive cases, 145 are Active Positive (50 in Jammu Division and 95 in Kashmir Division), 474172 have recovered and 4785 have died; 2352 in Jammu division and 2433 in Kashmir division.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar district reported 08 cases, Budgam district reported 02 cases, Kulgam district reported 01 case while as no other district reported any fresh cases today.

Similarly, in Jammu division, Jammu district reported 03 cases, Udhampur district reported 01 case, Samba district reported 02 cases, Kishtwar district reported 01 case while as no other district reported any fresh cases today.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
