The CEO started his visit with an early morning inspection of Hill View Park at Bidder Kokernag, which spans around 450 kanals. He reviewed the current state of the park and proposed a complete facelift, including the plantation of ornamental plants and seasonal flowers to make the area more attractive and visitor-friendly.

CEO Kokernag also visited Dandipora Park, which covers 80 kanals. He instructed officials to upgrade its infrastructure and take immediate steps to restore land areas that were damaged due to last year’s heavy snowfall, rainfall, and flash floods. During a meeting with KDA staff and gardeners, he stressed the importance of cleanliness, regular upkeep, and a professional approach to maintaining these tourist spots to increase tourist footfall from within and outside the region.

The CEO also inspected the outsourced tourist huts run by KDA. He interacted with tourists and local residents to understand their experiences and to collect feedback about the available facilities and services.

This proactive approach by Mohd Rouf Rahman was welcomed and appreciated by both the local public and KDA staff, who praised his dedication and efforts to turn Kokernag into a leading tourist destination.
