Kupwara : Chief Education officer Kupwara organized the 3nd consecutive Medical Assessment Camp for Children with Special Needs for providing free Aids and Appliances under Inclusive Education Wing of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA in Collaboration with with ALIMCO Kanpur ( Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation) supported by IE team, ZNOS, SNOs and School staff More than 118 CWSN were assessed and recommended for supportive devices, Aids and appliances to be provided free by SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J&K for their life support and continue their studies parallel to normal students and achieve the goal aimed under Inclusive Education Component of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA and fulfill their dreams for happy, healthy and independent livelihood and serve the society as well.
CEO Kupwara Mr A. M. Dar accompanying i/c Principal Mr Reyaz Ah Kirmani personally remained present during the assessment of CWSN students and stressed the assessing team to deal the CWSN with love and affection and take appropriate measures to encourage these special students by providing required supportive devices and enable them to continue their studies.
Refreshment was properly served to CWSN beneficiaries and all seating and assessing arrangements were put in place.
Lastly, District Coordinator Inclusive Education thanked all stake holders viz Principal GHSS Handwara, ZEO , IE team , ALIMCO team, , ZNOS, SNOs for their full support and cooperation during the conduct of Assessment Camp.
The program shall continue throughout the District and shall be organized in all Zones in order to assess all CWSN identified and OOS Children in the recent survey for providing of free Aids and Appliances for their support and assure inclusion aimed under the scheme.
