Chairperson, DDC Kulgam visits Bhan village to assess damages to property in fire incident

KULGAM : Chairperson of the District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, Mohammad Afzal Parray, visited Bhan village of District Kulgam to assess the damages caused by a fire incident that occurred on January 27, 2025.
The fire severely damaged a tin shed, timber worth lakhs, a timber machine, and other valuable property belonging to one Shabir Ahmad Najar.
During his visit, Chairperson met affected family and local residents and expressed his sympathy with the affected family. He urged the district administration to provide immediate relief and compensation to the victim. He also assured the family that necessary steps would be taken to support their rehabilitation.
