Kupwara: Harshan Army Goodwill School (AGS) Krusan Lolab hosted a felicitation ceremony for the toppers of the matriculation board exams, here on Monday.
The daylong event was attended by distinguished guests including Commander 8 Sector, CO 47RR, Lieutenant Colonel 47 RR, ZEO Sogam, Headmaster Govt. High School Krusan, Principal of the institution, and parents of the high-achieving students.
During the ceremony, Commander 8 Sector congratulated the students, teachers, and parents on their outstanding performance. He praised the Kupwara peeple for showcasing their talent and potential in various fields.
Notably, Harshan AGS Krusan emerged as the top-performing school in the 10th class board exam results across Kupwara district among all AGS schools.
A total of 59 candidates from the institute appeared in the exam, and all qualified with an impressive 58 distinctions.
The school’s outstanding performance is highlighted by 32 students scoring above 450 marks, with one student achieving the first division.
Notable candidates included; Aafaq Aijaz with 495 marks, Mehak Altaf with 494, Syeda Mehpara with 491 marks, Shoaib Mushtaq with 488 marks and Insha Hamid with 486 marks.
The event was a celebration of the students’ achievements and a recognition of the school’s dedication to fostering talent and excellence in education.
