With the valley is witnessing a dip in daily Covid-19 positive cases, the authorities are however ensuring that people are following the Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB). While the district administration in Srinagar has mobilised the teams and vans can be seen making announcement asking the people to use masks at public places. While the LG led administration has directed the officials to ramp up the vaccination process for the left out lot, various vaccination sites have been opened across the valley. While Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din is ensuring that the district is up to the compliance as far as the Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) is concerned. Stating that there are only 25 active cases in the district and recovery rate of the district stands at 98.67 percent, DC Kupwara again appealed people of not lowering the guard, and urged them to follow set Covid Sops and guidelines. With the onset of global pandemic covid-19 in year 2020, experts believe that enough of the sensitizing messages and information have been disseminated, while one needs to do the compliance to save self and ensure the safety of others. The enforcement of Covid sops on ground should have been less rather people being asked to adopt the Covid guidelines, believes experts.
