BANDIPORA : Continuing the momentum under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), district administration Bandipora Monday organized an awareness and benefit saturation camp at Chitteybanday.
DAJGUA campaign was formally launched on June 15th at Government Higher Secondary School Aragam by the District Administration, where various stakeholders including PRIs, civil society members, and tribal youth participated in large numbers. The launch event marked the beginning of a 15-day initiative aimed at ensuring saturation of government schemes in all 31 notified tribal villages of the district.
Various government departments actively participated in today’s camp to facilitate on-the-spot services and enrollment under key welfare schemes. Departments including Health, Education, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, and others showcased schemes like PMAY, PM-KISAN, Ujjwala Yojana, pension assistance, and scholarships.
On the occasion, eligible beneficiaries were provided with direct support, guidance, and registration opportunities as part of the ongoing saturation drive. The event witnessed encouraging participation from tribal residents of Chitteybanday and adjoining areas, who availed multiple services and interacted with officials to understand scheme benefits.
DAJGUA campaign will continue till June 30 across 31 notified tribal villages of Bandipora, aiming at full coverage of all eligible individuals and promoting inclusive development.
