DAK Condoles the Demise of Dr Nazir Ahmad Khan

Kupwara : The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sudden demise of Dr Nazir Ahmad Khan, Senior Medical Officer at NTPHC Nagri Kupwara.

Dr Nazir, originally hailing from Trehgam Kupwara and residing in Model Town B, Sopore, passed away today. A dedicated professional and compassionate individual, he leaves behind a legacy of service and humanity that deeply impacted the medical fraternity and the community he served.

In an official statement, DAK President Dr M Y Tak conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

“The loss of Dr Nazir Ahmad Khan is an irreparable one, not just for his family but for the entire medical community. He was a gem of a man, embodying kindness, empathy, and unwavering dedication to his patients,” said Dr Tak.

Dr Ayjaz Ahmad Bhat, District President of DAK Kupwara, also expressed deep sorrow over the loss.

“His passing is an immeasurable loss to the medical fraternity and the community he served with unwavering dedication. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bless his family with patience and strength during this challenging time,” he stated.

Adding to the tributes, Dr Basharat Khan, a close colleague, highlighted Dr Nazir’s exemplary character and generosity.

“He was a noble soul, always extending a helping hand to the needy and poor. His humility and dedication made him a beacon of hope for many. Dr Nazir will be remembered and missed by all of us,” he said with a heavy heart.

Dr Amir Iqbal Spokesperson DAK while condoling the untimely demise of Dr Nazir said,”

“The news of Dr Nazir’s untimely demise has left his colleagues, friends, and patients in shock. Known for his compassionate approach to medicine, Dr Nazir consistently went beyond his duties to ensure the well-being of his patients. His relentless commitment to his profession and humanity has left a lasting imprint on the region.

DAK acknowledged Dr Nazir’s significant contributions to healthcare, particularly in the Kupwara district, where he was widely respected and admired.

Dr Nazir Ahmad Khan’s passing serves as a somber reminder of the fragility of life and the immense void left by those who dedicate their lives to serving others. His memory will continue to inspire the medical fraternity to uphold the ideals he represented.
