DC Anantnag welcomes Ist batch of Hajis in district

ANANTNAG : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid  extended a warm welcome to the first batch of Hajis from the district who successfully performed the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The annual hajj pilgrimage is a significant religious journey for Muslims, and  completing it is considered a momentary achievement for Muslims as it is a religious duty and once-in- a-lifetime opportunity for those who are physically and financially able to undertake it.

It is a spiritual journey that holds immense importance in the lives of those who participate, as it allows Muslims to strengthen their faith, seeking forgiveness.
