The meeting primarily focused on reviewing the progress of PM-Vishwakarma scheme in the district, for which the training batches have already been going on since the last month.

The DC directed the concerned officers to close about 650 cases pending with them so that training can be scheduled for those individuals. He also directed the Community Service Centers (CSCs) to deploy their representatives at 26 Block headquarters of the district to fast-track the submitted applications.

The meeting further discussed the progress towards procurement of nutrition supplies through ICDS, emphasizing the need for comprehensive action. The DC directed the District Program Officer to ensure the full utilization of allocated funds, aiming for 100% procurement of nutritional supplies.

Minga Sherpa informed the meeting that BDOs of the concerned blocks have been delegated the power to approve supply orders and sanction payments for procurement of nutritional supplies.

The DC further instructed the relevant CDPOs to ensure that Anganwadi workers and helpers receive their honorarium within 3 days after their attendances are properly vetted.

In preparation of the elections, the DC was informed that 14 poll locations have been identified where ramps need to be done. The DC directed the ACD to ensure that ramp work is completed in a week’s time and further directed deputy DEO to coordinate with BLOs to identify any buildings where ramp work may further be needed.
