DC Budgam dedicates 300 LPM Oxygen Plant at District Hospital

Says work on Blood Component Separation Unit at District Hospital is in final stage & nearing completion

BUDGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today dedicated 300 LPM Oxygen Plant to the general public at District Hospital Budgam which was funded under the District Capex plan.
The long pending demand met today (Oxygen Plant), has an Oxygen room and Oxygen pipeline with bed panels facilities. The facility will function round the clock under proper monitoring for purity, density and required pressure of Oxygen supply.
The DC said that the dedicated Oxygen Plant would enhance healthcare facilities at the district hospital and benefit patients round the clock.
He said the Oxygen Plant would augment district capacity and help to meet the requisite Oxygen demand in future also.
The DC said that besides Oxygen Plant work on another important project, Blood Component Separation Unit was also taken on mission mode at District Hospital, Budgam and the same is at the advanced stage of nearing completion.
He appreciated the concerned including District Hospital administration, Health and MED departments for ensuring speedy work and installation of requisite machinery for completion of these projects at district hospital.
The DC stated that the District Administration is committed to ensure upgradation of health infrastructure and improvement work at all healthcare facilities to ensure better health related facilities to the public at district level.
Later, the DC also inspected ongoing work at the blood component Separation unit and visited various wards, ICU and other blocks.
Among others, CPO, SE R&B, CMO, MS District Hospital, Executive Engineer R&B, officers from MED and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
