DC Budgam reviews NABARD RIDF projects Directs timely completion, improved coordination, and effective fund utilization for infrastructure development

BUDGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today chaired a meeting, here to review projects being funded under the NABARD Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) in the district.
The meeting focused on evaluation of the division wise progress of different projects of infrastructural development under NABARD across Budgam.
The DC directed concerned officials to expedite the clearance procedures, besides other teething disputes or issues on ground to accelerate the speed of works.
He emphasized the necessity of inter-departmental coordination to address the bottlenecks and reviewed the status of infrastructural projects across all sub-divisions of the district.
The DC directed the executive agencies to expedite the physical civil work on ground for timely completion of the projects.
SE R&B Budgam made a detailed presentation on status of each work covered under NABARD 2022-23 & 23-24.
The DC also emphasized the timely completion of projects linking key tourist destinations in the district, aiming to boost the local tourism economy.
The meeting was attended by SE PWD(R&B) Budgam, CPO Budgam, Executive Engineers Budgam, Chadoora, Charar-i-Sharief and Beerwah; all AEEs, JEs and other concerned officers.
