DC Kulgam reviews implementation of PM-KISAN scheme

KULGAM : In order to review the online integration of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) data with Revenue Records of beneficiaries on the Portal, a joint meeting of Revenue and Agriculture Officers was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at mini-secretariat, here.

At the outset, the DC took a detailed review with regard to bulk uploading of Revenue Record of PM-KISAN beneficiaries, mutation of eligible beneficiaries on account of pending inheritance mutations, completion of e-KYC process and saturation of bank accounts of PM-KISAN.

The chair was apprised that revenue records of 30892 beneficiaries have been uploaded on the portal as on date.

The categorization of pendencies on account of various reasons was also discussed in detail.

The concerned tehsildars were directed by the chair to hold mutation camps in the district in mission mode to cover the eligible beneficiaries having land holding in their name so that they can receive the benefits of the scheme.

During the meeting, it was informed that a large number of farmers are in possession of cultivable land but mutation is pending and directions have been passed to the Agriculture Department to approach Revenue Authorities for Mutation with the result they will become eligible for receiving installments under the PM KISAN scheme.

On the occasion, the DC asked officers to ensure all eligible beneficiaries are covered under the scheme and asked them to activate their field staff and integrate PM-KISAN data with Revenue record and e-KYC process of the scheme well in time.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Showkat Ahmad Rather, Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmad Giri, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, Chief Agriculture Officer Sartaj Ahmad Shah, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
