DC Kulgam reviews physical/ financial status of NABARD, Languishing, TAPs

KULGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-din Bhat today reviewed physical and financial progress made under Languishing, NABARD and Transit Accommodation Projects (TAPs) under execution through PWD (R&B) sector in the district.

The meeting was informed about the ongoing execution of road upgradation and construction works taken up in the district.

It was also informed that under languishing works Adipora Mishpora, Khudwani Ganjipora, Chingam Frisal, Aadigen Pombay and various other bridges were completed.

It was further shared that under NABARD, 06 work projects were completed and there are 06 ongoing works in Kulgam division.

During the meeting, bottlenecks hampering the timely completion of work projects were also discussed.

While reviewing the status of Transit accommodations at Mirhama and Chowgam it was informed that work on 11 blocks is going on at Mirhama with an estimated cost of 22.95 crore.

The DC on the occasion directed for immediate completion of projects, removing bottlenecks and expediting the pace so that the projects are dedicated for the public benefit.

He asked for increasing men and machinery so that projects are completed in time.

The concerned were also instructed by the DC to start the Macadamisation process at an earliest in the district.

JD-P Zahid Sajjad; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, Ex. Engineer, AEEs, AEs and other officials attended the meeting.
