DC Kulgam reviews progress of developmental works of R&B Sector

KULGAM : In order to review the progress of developmental works under the execution of R&B Sector in the district, a meeting of concerned officers was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at mini-secretariat, here.

At the outset, the DC took a comprehensive review of physical/ financial targets with regard to infrastructure development, upgradation works undertaken by R&B under District Capex, NABARD, languishing etc.

On the occasion, the DC was apprised about the present status of major developmental works by Superintending Engineer and Executive engineers from R&B.

During the meeting the DC also took review of newly approved projects including Chiranbal road, Galman Nandimarg road, Kawaki Bazar Bridge and other newly approved works.

During the meeting it was also informed that almost 99 percent work on officers quarters at Liroo has been completed.

After reviewing the status of Ayush 100 bedded hospital, concerned from R&B were directed to complete the work project within 20 days.

Status of other work projects was also reviewed including works in the education sector.

The DC after taking review of all works being executed under R&B directed the officers to strictly follow the deadlines of each project to ensure their timely completion so that people are benefitted at large.

He laid stress on speeding up the pace of the execution process to complete the works in a time bound manner.

The DC stressed the officers to work with a vision of development and welfare of the people and make sure that all the projects are dedicated to the public within the stipulated time frame with strict adherence to the quality standards.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; JDP, Zahid Sajjad; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; SE R&B, Executive Engineers, AEEs and other concerned officers.
