DC Kulgam reviews progress of key Centrally Sponsored Schemes

Instructs officers to achieve 100% saturation in implementation of all schemes

KULGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a comprehensive meeting with officers from various departments to review the progress made under several key centrally sponsored schemes and programmes.
During the meeting, he reviewed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban ( PMAY-U), Mission Indradanush, PM -JAY, PM- UJWALA, PM-Sawa-Nidhi, PM-Mutru Vandana Yojana, PM- Vishwa Karma, PM- Mudra, PM- Poshan and KCC.
On the occasion, DC emphasized for achieving 100% saturation in all the schemes and programmes.
He directed the officers to meet the weekly targets to reach out the left out households so that all eligible beneficiaries are covered by the end of February.
While reviewing the progress of schemes, he interacted with the beneficiaries to know their on ground experience regarding the implementation of scheme in the district.
The importance of inter-departmental collaboration, timely reporting, and rigorous monitoring was also underlined to ensure efficient implementation and to meet the desired outcomes.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Zahid Sajjad, Assistant Commissioner Development Syed Naseer, District Programme Officer, General Manager DIC, CEO, CHO, CAO, Executive Engineer of Jalal Shakti, AD CAPD, AD Handloom and other officers from various departments.
