DC Kulgam visits KP colony Vessu; takes stock of pace & progress of residential quarters

Also listens to issues of inhabitants

KULGAM : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Kashmiri Pandit/ PM Employee’s colony Vessu and took a detailed stock of facilities and services available in the colony.

J&K govt facilitates safe return of residents, students from Iran

During the visit, the DC interacted with the inhabitants and enquired about the facilities and services available there and took a detailed stock of sanitation.

The residing employees apprised the DC about various issues and raised several demands.

After giving a patient hearing to the issues and demands the DC assured early redressal of the issues raised by them.

Acting on the demands of the inhabitants, the DC on spot instructed ACD to start work on the development of Yoga Park, establishment of open air gym and execution of other approved works in the colony.

Earlier, the DC took stock of pace and progress on construction of residential quarters which are under execution of JKPCC.

The concerned informed the DC, that out of 13 towers, 08 are completed and work on 05 towers is at truss level.

The DC instructed the officers of the executing agency to speed up the pace of work and complete all towers by September 2023.
