DC Kupwara chairs Revenue Officers meeting.

KUPWARA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, Thursday Chaired a Revenue Officers meeting at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex here to review the revenue matters.

At the outset, ACR Kupwara, Irfan Bahadur appraised the chair, regarding functioning of the revenue department.

The DC reviewed all agenda points including Digitization of Jammabandies, their Quality Check, digitization and Geo-referencing of Cadastral maps, SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas), inheritance mutations, PM Kisan related mutations and verification, generation and distribution of pass books.

The DC while stressing for better service delivery, directed the officers and field functionaries for improving their performance and ensuring sticking to the timeline.

While reviewing the status of Jamabandies and quality check, DC gave a deadline of one week to officers to complete the process.

DC said that digitized Jammabandies should be 100% error free and emphasized upon the Officers to complete this process.

DC directed Officers to dedicate one week time for verification of Jammabandies. DC asked Tehsildars to establish a control room in every tehsil, monitor this process and get it completed.

The DC also reviewed the status of court cases and directed Revenue officers to focus on Revenue Court Cases and get them uploaded on RCCMS (Revenue court Cases Monitoring System) Portal.

She stressed upon the officers to dispose of the PSGA cases within the timeline as per the rules.

The meeting was attended by ADC Kupwara,Gh.Nabi Bhat, ACR Kupwara, irfan Bahadur, SDM Lolab, IJaz Ahmad Bhat, SDM Karnah, Gulzar Ahamd Rather, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
